V-044 CASE REPORT: RECURRENT AND INCARCERATED VENTRAL HERNIA. ETEP APPROACH

Abstract Aim The eTEP approach for ventral hernia is becoming a promising treatment option obese patients as scheduled procedure, in specialized high volumen centers. Is it feasible also emergency surgey? M&M We present case of 73 year old female patient with an incarcerated hernia, presenting itself bowel obstruction on the early postoperative period after prosthetic knee surgery. had previous midline laparotomy (Cesarian), two onlay repairs, and body mass index 32. CT imaging findings revealed close to hernia. performed endoscopic retromuscular sac exploration, reduced ruled out damage, completed intraperitoneal adhesiolysis followed through closing anterior posterior rectus sheat running sutures. began supraumbilical abdominal wall using inferior trocars finished infraumbilical part superior trocars. Then we introduced deployed polypropylene 26×15 cm mesh. No mesh fixation or drains were used. Results Bowel was solved Oral liquids intake started second day. Despite pain, sedentary lifestyle, depressive disorder obesity, walking, assisted by physiotherapist Intravenous naproxen acetaminophen used painkillers. Discharged day 10 because wound celulitis. Conclusions seams surgeries
